What we believe

  • I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead.

On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

    Amen.

  • I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made.

Who, for us men for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.

I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceedeth from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets. I believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.

I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.

    Amen.

  • We believe that there is one true God: who has revealed himself to us in three Persons: Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit.

We believe that the persons of the Trinity are co-eternal, co-equal, and yet operate with distinct functions.

We believe Jesus Christ was who he said he was. He is the Second Person of the Trinity. He is a distinct person from the Father and the Holy Spirit, fully God and fully man who was incarnated as a human, was born of a virgin, was crucified, buried, resurrected, and is seated at the right hand of God.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Trinity, who was sent by the Father to equip the Church, empower the believer, and to edify the Church activating various gifts as administered by the Spirit. We believe the Holy Spirit is received at salvation and assists us in our weaknesses by enabling us to live a victorious life, fully alive.

We believe the Bible is the living word of God. It is relevant today in every arena of life including faith and lifestyle because it is living and active. It is infallible, authoritative and everlasting as it’s the foundation of all Christian doctrine. We believe all scripture is God-breathed and it’s to be believed, practiced, and trusted.

We believe the plans of Satan are to keep humans trapped in sin and bondage. However, we believe that true redemption is found only in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross. This redemption is received by genuine repentance and faith towards Christ whose blood was atoned for all of humanity.

We believe in water baptism because Jesus himself modeled it for us. We believe water baptism is an outward confession of an inward decision. Baptism is not a prerequisite to salvation; meaning Baptism doesn’t get you to heaven—it simply announces that you are headed toward heaven.

We believe in the glorious-bodily return of Jesus Christ whereupon Christ will sit in judgment, renewing the earth and its reign. We believe that God is creating a New Heavens and a New Earth where His children will dwell forever with God.

We believe that the Church is the Body of Jesus Christ. We believe each active member should play a role fulfilling the Great Commission. We see the local church as the pillar of truth toward the world due to the presence of Jesus, mediated by the Holy Spirit.

We believe God has designed, ordained and defined marriage as a covenant relationship between one biological man, one biological woman, and himself.
